Cloudy weather with cold and very strong north wind. Snow will fall initially in the northern and eastern parts of the region, but as the day progresses, the snow showers will retreat to the main Alpine ridge. The snow line will be between 700 and 1000 m.

The strong north wind will persist on Friday as well. Still a few snow showers along the border with North Tyrol, whilst further south the sun will make occasional appearances. Saturday will bring largely sunny conditions. The gusty northerly foehn wind will ease somewhat. On Sunday, cloud cover will increase again over the main Alpine ridge, whilst further south there will be a mix of sun and clouds. The Föhn conditions will persist. Monday will be changeable in the northern parts of the region, with plenty of cloud and a few snow showers. Further south, the weather will be partly sunny.
